Under the Poole family’s leadership since 1951, Hallen became a trusted major distribution contractor for National Grid, Con Edison, and a range of other public and private sector clients.

In just three years, HICS has already tackled several major projects, showcasing its ability to handle high-profile, complex infrastructure work. These include installing a new 138kV transmission cable system, deploying electric vehicle charging stations, and managing the emergency repair of the Y50 345kV transmission line—an effort that involved large-scale marine support and intricate logistical coordination. These projects reflect HICS’ commitment to innovation, technical excellence, and reliability in the dynamic energy and utility sectors.
